Grapefruit Facial Scrub

When your skin feels dull and you want to get your glow back, Grapefruit oil can help. This DIY brightening Grapefruit facial scrub includes ingredients like avocado oil and Lavender oil, which are soft on the skin. Plus, you can scrub away dead skin by including sugar.  
While Grapefruit oil is known for helping improve the appearance of blemishes, Lavender oil is useful for soothing the skin. With these two powerhouse oils, you can say goodbye to lackluster skin and say hello to a glowing complexion.   
Learn how to make this DIY from the comfort of home by following the instructions below! 

Ingredients 
½ cup sugar (the finer the grit, the better) 
5–7 drops Grapefruit essential oil 
5 drops Lavender essential oil 
3 tablespoons avocado oil  

Instructions 

1. Mix all the ingredients into a bowl.  
2. To clean skin, apply a half dollar–size amount of scrub to your face. Use light pressure to spread the scrub in circular motions. Be careful to avoid the delicate area around the eyes.   
3. When the scrub has been applied to your face and lips, rinse with warm water and dry gently with a clean towel.  
4. Follow up with a hydrating serum and/or moisturizer.
   
    This scrub can be preserved in the refrigerator for up to a week.   
   
   

Note: This recipe makes enough for about five facial scrubs or can be used as an all-over body scrub.
